The following information is only applicable to clocks using Firmware version 1.6A or above. To find out which Firmware version your clock has, use the ‘K’ command (see page 8 of manual). New command instructions… Referring to page 8, and the item marked ‘ T ‘ (Show Time-Zone Offset), in your Galleon PoE Digital Clock Manual, please note that this particular command has now been upgraded. Previously, you were required to input the time-setting required for your time-zone. For example, if you needed to set UTC forward by one hour, you would be required to input T +01:00. To simplify the process a new, number based upgrade will replace the previous format. Below, you will find UTC time-zones numbered 1-40. Rather than having to input the entire time-setting, (T +01:00) you simply select the number relevant to your requirements. For example, if you want to set UTC forward by one hour, input T 17 (17 being the ‘ID number’ that corresponds with the +01:00 ‘Offset Value’ in the table below). Please note, a space is required between T & the number when inputting.
The new upgrade allows to you to select 30 minute and 45 minute time intervals. For example, Kabul in Afghanistan is 4 hours 30 minutes ahead of UTC time. To set your time-zone in accordance with Kabul, in your command prompt you would input T 22 (22 being the ID number that corresponds with the +04:30 Offset Value in the table above).
